Holy Well
As the name suggests, the long discovered Holy Well in Koh Yao is rumoured to have provided miracles. Known also as Leb Mue Nang Well, Holy Well is a fresh water well that stems from a land mass by the sea when the sea water dries up. Rumour has it, a paralysed man once dreamt of the well and upon drinking its water made a miraculous recovery. Today, the people of Ko Yao collect the water while they are gathering goods in the area and use it to drink and bathe in. To do so they shape the sand into a well shape and use leaves to form a cone to drink the water.
